Description

I own no land, instead I have wheelestate. I’ve been a full time RVer since 1997. Working summers as a Park Ranger takes me to many beautiful places and playing during the winter takes me to many more. This blog is simply the story of my life's adventures.

SSS2-Ladder shadow

01 View out back window with shadow & crystals Yarnell AZ (1024x768)

Not sure how secure that shadow ladder would be to climb.  The middle crystal created a nice shadow in this post.

After a visit with fellow bloggers RV Sue and the Bayfield Bunch, and a stop at the Post Office Cafe for lunch, the Yarnell hill called me back home and I saw this on the way.

Celebrate International Women’s Day  today.  “In 1910 the second International Conference of Working Women was held in Copenhagen. A woman named Clara Zetkin a (Leader of the 'Women's Office' for the Social Democratic Party in Germany) tabled the idea of an International Women's Day. She proposed that every year in every country there should be a celebration on the same day - a Women's Day - to press for their demands. The conference of over 100 women from 17 countries, representing unions, socialist parties, working women's clubs, and including the first three women elected to the Finnish parliament, greeted Zetkin's suggestion with unanimous approval and thus International Women's Day was the result.”
Many women have influenced my life.  My dear friend Berta being just one.  Today she is having shoulder surgery so please keep her in your thoughts.  Thanks.

01 ZA wildlife at Cabela's AZ (1024x576)
Surely I’d been transported back in time two years.  The renowned Big 5 of South Africa fame stared me in the face.  I cautioned Berta to back away.
