Description

I own no land, instead I have wheelestate. I’ve been a full time RVer since 1997. Working summers as a Park Ranger takes me to many beautiful places and playing during the winter takes me to many more. This blog is simply the story of my life's adventures.

Moosejaw

After borrowing a thermarest for my last cross canyon hike and sleeping well I knew I had to buy one for myself.

I searched online for the best deal and found Moosejaw. Placed my order and checked the box for a free hoody. Less than a week later, UPS arrived with this most unusual package.

It also included a bumper sticker, note and catalogue, yes that says “JAIL” which is where the photos were taken. But no hoody. So I emailed them and got a prompt personal reply.

Then another package arrived....

.....with my free Moosejaw hoody. Now I can enter their French kissing contest. ;-)

Go to this site even if you don’t want to buy any sports gear. They are a
kick!

Sky Watch Friday

Several years ago a forest fire burned just south of Prescott. Because the Ponderosa Pine is very fire resistant some of the trees survived to reseed the next generations. Nothing lives forever, and fire provides a good cleansing.

I appologise for not reading blogs lately. My computer has been shutting down about every two hours making it very frustrating and difficult to stay online.

MWT - Christmas is coming...

These beautiful packages arrived in a box unexpectedly from Stacey at Do What You Love. She posted here about the fun she has wrapping packages and I’m convinced. In fact, they are too pretty to open. But I’ll bet curiosity will get to me. Thank you so much Stacey!

I really haven’t “done” Christmas in several years. Oh yes, I get together with a few dear friends to share a meal and lovely companionship. None of us give gifts in the material sense; instead our gift is love and compassion for each other. Isn’t that really what it’s supposed to be about, every day?
